Show synopsis:

 

Kill Hamlet is the story of four jesters who arrive in Denmark with the dream of being welcomed by the great Yorick, the court jester of Elsinore. But when they get there, they are told that the king has been killed and things are not looking good in the castle. Something smells fishy in Denmark, and they're caught in the middle of it.

Company description:

 

Graduated from the National School of Dramatic Art in November 1985, Los Macocos have performed more than twenty of their own shows, creating the keys to their own original style, linked to the comic tradition of the River Plate. They performed both in theaters on the independent circuit, where they were born, and in official theaters and on the commercial stage. They have also presented their works in cities within the country and in various foreign festivals, such as the Greek Festival, Barcelona, Americartes Washington, Montevideo, among others. In their extensive career of over 38 years they have won both group and individual awards for their performances.

 

Director biography:

 

Sebastián Irigo is a theater director, playwright and musician from Argentina. Since 1999, he has worked on numerous shows and plays in Buenos Aires, Spain and Mexico. In Argentina, he has been awarded numerous awards and received critical recognition for his work as a director and/or playwright in such renowned plays as "Querido Evan" (Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway), "Regreso en Patagonia", "Lo único que hice fue jugar", "Aquellas Mujeres", "Maten a Hamlet" and "Los albornoz" with Los Macocos, "Carnaval del Norte", "Ninfas, el musical" (in 2006 in Buenos Aires and in 2014 in Caracas, Venezuela ), "Torna Amore", "Los 39 Escalones" (in Punta del Este, Uruguay), "Next to Casi Normales" - a concert with the original Broadway cast of Next to Normal in Buenos Aires, etc.
